About Vera Ann:
An individual with strong communications skills and a desire to help others. I have a high level
of practical and theoretical knowledge in psychology, sociology, and gender advocacy and
empowerment. I am a detail-oriented, passionate, and skilled individual with extensive
knowledge in policy development, advocacy strategies, client assessment, children and
family evaluation, and the ability to promote appropriate community service for clients.

Assistant Ward Cordinataor Intern, Cheer Up Program(CUP)- USAID Tumikia Mtoto Project, January 2023 to April 2023;
Key Responsibilities in role was to:
Facilitate the provision of the comprehensive DREAMS package of service to Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGWY) in accordance with, national and donor guidelines and Cheer Up Program Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Organize quarterly and monthly ward-level planning sessions, generate work plans and budgets.
Facilitate delivery of activities in the approved work plans and associated budgets and communicate any needed changes prior to implementing these changes.
Conduct on-site monitoring visits and conduct fortnightly formal feedback sessions with field staff and document through minutes deliberations of these meetings.
Work in collaboration with other departments including HR, finance, procurement and administration to ensure all financial and administrative aspects are carryout out seamlessly and in line with relevant organization policies and procedures.
Identify technical capacity gaps among project staff and facilitate training and mentoring of the staff to close the gaps.
