I am Administrative Assistant and ICT officer with over 5 years of experience in Administration and IT support within the NGO setting. I work with the International Fertilizer Development Centre (IFDC) regional offices based at ICIPE Campus Nairobi from October 2020 to date. I support national Administration and IT functions supporting their East and South African countries which included countries like, Ethiopia, South Sudan, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Mozambique, Burundi, Malawi and Zimbabwe.
My current Job Description perfectly matches perfectly well with the Job Description for the above position. My roles include.
- Receiving and forwarding of Phone calls, mails, and visitors etc. to various staff/office within the organization.
- Helping staff to procure items/services.
- Booking tickets and accommodations for staff.
- Helping/assisting staff in Visa processing.
- Issuance of IFDC stationary and updating of stationary stock register and preparing purchase requisition. And preparing replenishment Purchase Requisitions for office supplies.
- Updating the IFDC assets register and making sure that assets are well labeled and physical verification of assets.
- Offer IT support in collaboration with various lCT service providers by being the contact person and availing information regarding IFDC Kenya IT.
- Handling of installation of software and hardware maintenance of computers
- I also handle petty cash in Kenya Office.
- Adding and deleting users from various printers within the office and replenishing supplies whenever required in collaboration with service providers e.g., Tonners.
- Overseeing kitchen cleanliness.
- Overseeing regular maintenance and repair of IFDC assets thus computers and office phones.
- Assist in set up of meetings and ensure that meeting rooms are well arranged and that refreshments are served for meetings where applicable.

Currently pursuing Master’s in operations and information Technology at University of Nairobi.
And I graduated 2014 with bachelor’s degree in computer science with second upper.
