Alex Maundu

I am an open minded and result oriented professional with skills and knowledge 
in Governance & Development, Peace and State reconstruction, Arbitration and 
Dispute resolution, Law and Information Technology. My high sense of 
responsibility matches my work habits, planning and coordination skills. My 
goal is to work in an environment which encourages success and professional 
growth where I can utilize my skills and knowledge appropriately towards the 
achievement of the Institution’s goals and objective.

My combined working experience at the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission 
(IEBC) from 2016 to 2018 as a Legal Assistant and the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) from 2021 
to 2022 on contractual terms demonstrates my keen interest in analyzing the social, political and economic factors that influence the pillars of good governance for sustainable development.

Undertaking my Masters in Governance and Development, in an intercultural setting polished my diplomatic and interpersonal skills significantly helping me appreciate the complexities of policymaking as discussed and understood in the academic world in comparison to the realities of evidence-based policymaking.
