About zackaria mackdii:

I am an ambitious, proactive and enthusiastic teacher of English and literature with over six years experience in teaching the British International Curriculum – Cambridge Curriculum and Edexcel Pearson and two, serving as a school administrator. I hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education (English and Literature) from Kenyatta University. I have interacted with learners of different abilities and from diverse backgrounds, with the aim of shaping them holistically to fit the contemporary world.

I appreciate working independently and also as part of a united team, in a fast-paced environment and in a highly motivated manner. I always aim to build my career in a manner that is governed by the principles of; adaptability team work, accountability and honesty - all this crowned by passion and love for teaching and nurturing.

Experience

For more than eight years I have worked with learners of different abilities in a manner that is meant to help them understand the English language and respond to international exams for the Edexcel Pearson and Cambridge curricula (British based curricula.) Beyond this I have so much to offer to learners of different abilities for instance; I can train learners in leadership, public speaking and writing. These are things that I take so much pride in.

Education

My most relevant level of education is Bachelor/Degree level teacher training. I studied English and Literature for a period of four years and the training encompassed class room management (Unit AEN 403) and Psychology of Education (EPS 402) such units were my favorite and I draw so much of my teaching philosophy from the same.
