Ê Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with
business systems or processes, such as sales, order management,
accounting, and shipping.
Ê Direct inbound and outbound logistics operations, such as
transportation or warehousing, cargo safety and general quality
management.
Ê Supervise logistics personnel, planners and trip schedulers.
Ê Negotiate with suppliers and customers to improve supply chain
effciency or sustainability.
Ê Negotiate transportation rates.
Ê Monitor product import and export processes to ensure
compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
Ê Manage sub-contractor pre-qualification, performance monitoring
and evaluation.
