Wendy Ojuka

I am a strong business leader, who is currently serving as a Business Solutions Manager at Nation Media Group and previously the Business Development Manager at Riana Group and Samsung Electronics East Africa both based in Nairobi, Kenya. I have also previously worked at Aspire Marketing limited and held various commercial positions.

I am an experienced commercial and business strategy professional and have deep passion for team mentorship and market share growth, especially driven by continuous innovation and superior consumer experience. I have a reputation for helping the companies I work for achieve sustainable competitive advantage through effective business development strategies, nurturing a keen eye for growth opportunities within its market and beyond.

I am a Bachelor of Arts graduate from The University of Nairobi and currently undertaking my MBA majoring in Strategic Management and Marketing from Daystar University. 

I am an excellent communicator (both orally and written), able to influence and engage people and rally them towards a cause rarely relying on positional authority. I have worked in multicultural environment and I am able to appreciate cultural dynamics in all working and personal scenarios.  My key qualities being a natural self-motivator, who is resolute-minded and focused as well as being a confident and a natural self-starter with great leadership and diplomatic skills. 

I'm currently a Business Solutions Manager at Nation Media Group and was previously a Business Development Manager at Riana Group and Samsung Electronics East Africa. Before that I was a Sales and Marketing Manager at Aspire Marketing Limited which was dealing with distribution of Samsung mobile phones.

I'm an alumnus of the University of Nairobi where I undertook my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Studies and Majored in Development Communication. I 'm currently undertaking my Masters of Business Administration doing a double major in Marketing and Strategic Management.
