About Vincent Atuncha:

  I am a Research and MEAL Practitioner with over 10 years practical knowledge, skills and experiences in managing planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, learning, adaptive management, team management, research and other project or program management needs and processes of multi-size projects, programs and organizations

I draw my experiences from my research and project management work in the non-profit sector (2 years at HealthRight International, 6 years at Pathfinder International  and 6 months at Population Services Kenya) and the public sector (4 years directly and 7 years indirectly during the partnership while working in the private sector)

I am competent in

1.Process and Outcome Monitoring and Evaluation
a)Conducting monitoring visits and providing quality feedback to strengthen compliance
b)Commendable understanding of the of project management and the essential role of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEAL) in program/project management 
c)Managing project information management system like DHIS and DATIM
d)Development MEAL frameworks, plans, and coordination of MEAL assignments 
e)Institutionalizing Data Use Culture and Continuous Quality Improvement practices
2.Conducting mixed-method research and evaluations
3.Application of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies (design, data collection, analysis, report writing, and dissemination) 
4.Capacity Building through Training, coaching, and mentorship of staff and partners at different levels - national, county, sub county, health facilities and community
5.Proposal writing for generation of revenue and expansion of organization portfolio
6.Grants or Partner management - analysis and selection, capacity building, scope allocation, provision of tools and technical support, and performance management
7.Stakeholder Management - mapping, assessing, on-boarding, developing and maintaining communication protocols, communicating and general management of  stakeholders 
8.Initiating projects from scratch building project management and M & E systems
9.Managing multi-million complex and dynamic projects at different stages supporting in developing project and programme Terms of References, work plans, M & E frameworks, implementation framework, recruiting personnel, and budget control
