Duties

• Instructing students on how computer works, including the basic science and mathematics behind their operations and the hardware and the software technologies. 

• Maintaining Computer systems, troubleshooting errors and repairing institution's hardware. 

• Maintaining the institution files and digital repositories needed for academic references. 

Assistant Registry Supervisor - MERU UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY (Nov 2020 to Feb 2021) 

Duties

• Facilitating information flow by tracking files to ensure accurate location of records at all times; 

• Facilitating maintenance of active and continuing programme for the economical and efficient management of the University by maintaining and updating departmental correspondence files; 

• Facilitating appraisal of records periodically to weed out the ephemerals to ensure preservation, filing and accessibility of records in the University; 

• Coordinating maintenance of office equipment by monitoring housekeeping, office management and stock control in the HR department and; 

• Receiving and routing incoming correspondence using approved filing systems and coordinating file circulation 

Library Assistant, Student Attache – MERU UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY (May 2022 to July 2022)

Duties 

• Helping patrons to locate books 

• Helping new guests/ users in finding materials online Checking books in and out at the circulation area 

• Sorting and shelving books according to their categories Cataloging new arrivals 

• Helping student with internet access to meet their academic and technical needs and; 

• Assisting with library events such as user education and reading sessions.
