Sylvia Muhia

Proactive and meticulous professional with a background in Bachelor of Education and Library Science, English and Literature option. An adept learner and capable of inspiring, motivating, encouraging and educating learners, given my exceptional communication skills, dedication, creativity and patience.

While interning at Nkoroi Mixed Secondary School, I advanced my teaching, research, planning and execution skills. Additionally, my bachelor’s degree in Education and Library Science, English and Literature option provided me with adept knowledge and skills which  proved useful while carrying through projects and day-to-day operations. Through exercising a calculated and methodical approach, I was able to achieve the following:
• Successfully presented lessons in a comprehensive manner which has facilitated learning.
• Set exams, Assess, record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
• Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events.
 

I successfully prepared students for tests as well as provided one-on-one support for students who require extra assistance. I am also experienced in using technology in the classroom, and have effectively utilized online resources to enhance student learning and engagement.
