About Suleiman Mahamud:

I am a 23 year old Kenyan male citizen with a Bachelor's Degree in Geospatial Information Science. I am currently volunteering at the Laikipia County Department of Lands and infrastructure GIS Lab. I am proficient in Data analysis ,data cleaning ,processing and information output using GIS software i.e ArcGis, QGIS, Erdas and ENVI. In addition I have intermediate understanding of the Python programming language. I am a determined and self driven man with a passion for service to humanity through technology.

Experience

I have worked as a volunteer intern for eleven months at Laikipia County Department of Land & Infrastructure GIS lab assisting in pre-implementation planning activities of the County Spatial Plan . My diversity in land information system spectrum has been enhanced by interactions with the National Land Commission team in the verification of land ownership and land surveying for physical planning and dispute settling. 

Education

I graduated in December 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Geospatial Information Science from Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology.
