Stephen Wachira

My name is Stephen Wachira Mwangi, an ambitious and optimistic individual, who looks at both sides of the coin in order to make informed  decisions. I am able to work under minimal supervision, and always consult whenever I should. I am a flexible Bachelor of Business Administration Degree holder, with a Second Class Upper Division. I majored in Procurement, but work in any related field, or any area trained for by my employer, or prospective employer in the case of training before hire situations . That means, I work even in sectors that do not match what I studied for, an example being my last employment, which was with Kenya Commercial Bank as a Digital Banking Executive, involving digital sales, as well as customer care services which I did very well, by being trained and learning on the job through consultations and helping colleagues whenever needed. This gave me an inner understanding of not only my field of work, but other functions of the Organization as well. I am a quick learner, I believe in myself, and I am a team player for cumulative success of my employers objectives and goals. I am a character whose goal is always to make a positive impact in my job or entrusted functions or duties through working smart, following rules, conditions, procedures and regulations, as well as consulting my colleagues and, or superiors to achieve the intended goals. I am passionate about exceeding my employers expectations, and finishing a given duty or mandate within the provided time. I am skilled in basic computer know-how, good interpersonal communication, a good listener, piano playing and whenever I oppose a point, I do it respectfully by providing a counter opinion as a better option, and explain my views of the same respectfully. 

I got my first job as a sales and Marketing individual even before graduating, back in 2014 at Avenue Electronics Ltd, I wasn't challenged enough and got another opportunity with added duties and responsibilities at Mackphilisa Computers the same year. My stay was short-lived due a three months probation, with high targets, which I didn't match in the given three months which ended in Nov 2014. They had to let me go. I stayed for a long while without formal employment, and only did available casual jobs whenever I was lucky to acquire one. In 2016 I got an employment with a company called Beyond Synergy Ltd, as a Field Supervisor during SGR Construction,  subcontracted by the main Chinese Contractor China Roads and Bridges Construction, (CRBC). The job ended in 2017 Dec, and went to being jobless again. I later in 2018 became a supervisor at a car wash, before getting a six months contract with Kcb in May 2019, under a HR Consultancy firm called Sheer Logic Management, as a Digital Banking Executive which mainly involved, digital sales in regards to digital transactions, handling online callers providing customer care services and directions to clients as well taking care of walk-in client needs whenever I was free or whenever there was need to reduce pressure with growing walk-ins within the banking hall. My contract ended in Noz the same year. Having performed, I was considered for a renewal in Feb 2020, unfortunately, I was suffering from Pneumonia, and the opportunity was given to someone else. I have been unlucky since then, looking for casual labors, as I continue applying for formal jobs and keeping my faith high and hopes positive, that God will make a way.
