ATTACHMENT AT KISII COUNTY GOVERNMENT HEALTH SERVICES

ACTIVITIES DONE DURING MY ATTACHMENT PERIOD.

Software Installation.- which included Antivirus installation, Windows installation and Office installation
Domain account Management- The county government has a domain network whereby all the computers within the organization are to be connected to in order to get the resources they need for their operations.
PABX Installation- Digital phone installation in order to provide easy communication within the offices in the organization, and first the step is to assemble the network.
Networking- Connection of computers to the network media and equipment which involved ensuring all computers were connected to the network and were properly configured to access the internet.
Computer hardware maintenance- Servicing all the computers to ensure they are dust free and working in mint condition. Checking the keyboards and mouse to ensure there are no faulty ones and noting down the faulty ones for replacement.
Software update- ensuring all the software installed in the computers are up to date. Updating the computer and laptop drivers and ensuring the latest versions of the software are installed
Printer maintenance- adding printers to the domain network so as to enable printing to be done at the secretary’s office at any time.
