Stephen Ndirangu

I am 33 years old and I have graduated with Bsc in Computer Science from Masinde Muliro University. I have 5 years of experience after working at, Best Western Plus MeridianHotel as ICT

Supervisor, Parklands Shade Hotel as IT Assistant, at SimbaNetLTD as a Field Engineer, and at Unilands Sacco as Systems Administrator.

Currently I am workingat Mutsimoto CompanyLtd as the ICT Officer. I have certifications for CPA 1, LenovoStorage Family and Lenovo Consumer Products. I am also working on CCNA certification.

At Simbanet COM LTD, my job entailed WAN and LAN networking (Wimax, VSAT, and fiber), and configuration of network devices such as firewalls, routers and switches. Here I used network monitoring tools such as PRTG and Zabbix to ensure nodes availability. As a supervisor at Bestwestern, my job entailed Active Directory management and network security management using Sophos firewall and Seqrite Endpoint security. At Unilands, my job entailed Sacco ERP programming as well as website development and Sybase database administration. My current job also entails network security using Cyberoam appliance for web filtration, firewall, VPN management, LAN and WAN load management. I have experience in Windows and Ubuntu Linux, and hardware support. I am proficient in Hyper-V and V-Sphere virtualization. 

Bsc in Computer Science. With three key areas- hardware, software development, and networking. I have also trained on storage such as SAN and NAS for data security. Currently I am pursing routing and switching at Kenyatta University.
