Livestock production officer intern| Embu county government| Embu, Kenya
Worked with the Embu county government under the livestock production department in Mbeere North subcounty, on an interim level. Practical skills acquired include:
 Organizing files and managing calendars in the office. 
 Guiding guests and visitors to the sub-county livestock production office.
 Teaching rural farmers about livestock diseases and how to prevent them.
 Carry out vaccination of poultry especially chicks.
 Supervise the mixing of poultry feeds using the poultry feed mixing ratio
 Assisting rural farmers in writing proposals to receive agricultural related grants and loans.
 Participating in the Farmer Field School(FFS) extension program in Mbeere-North sub-county, Embu
county, Kenya
 Advising rural farmers on turning to alternative farming that is cost friendly e.g bee keeping.
