 ILLUSTRATION OF MY SUITABLILITY FOR THE EMPLOYMENT

1. QUALIFICATIONS:

I successfully completed a Diploma in Business Management and Bachelor’s in Business Management and specialized in Finance and Banking optionat Moi University. I am currently pursuingACCA Course with the sole purpose of attaining the Final Certificate qualifications examined by ACCA -UK.

2. WORKING EXPERIENCE:

Working experience includes approximately 3 months in the Municipal Council of Thika and 4 months in the Kenya Forest ResearchInstitute and 3 months in the Judiciary and 2 years in Kenya National Highways Authority.

3. ENGLISH LANGUAGE COMPETENCE:

The medium of communication throughout schooling, internship and social/personal life has been in the English language. The skills in the language were tested and passed at School Certificates level - Examination certificate, originals and copies are available for perusal.

4. KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING OF ACCOUNTING, AND FINANCE:

My internship period revolved around accounting / finance and general office upkeep related functions. These periods have proved fundamental in aiding me to marry what had been taught in the classroom to what is being applied in the industry on a day to day basis.

5. ABILITY TO WORK INDEPENDENTLY TO ASSESS INCONSISTENCIES IN DATA. Formal training at Moi University revolved around data analysis and inferences. This coupled with the analysis experience garnered throughmy internships has reinforcement my data analysis techniques and assessment of subsequent results.

6. KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER SKILLS:

Possess some experience in the use of computers. I have a good understanding of Microsoft Office. Proper use and understanding of excel spreadsheets and good use of Microsoft Word. My internship period has also accorded me the chance to get introduced to various software such as SAGE and ERP.
