About Ruth Malesi:
I am a university graduate of a Bachelors’ degree in Gender and Development Studies from Kenyatta University.
I have demonstrated ability and vast knowledge in psychosocial support, gender mainstreaming, equity and equality, sustainability development goals, gender-based violence, gender analysis, counselling, monitoring and evaluation, capacity building and training, and rural-urban sociology. While working as a social worker attaché at AMPATH Kenya, I gained wealthy experience in supporting, guiding, and counselling marginal groups, orphans and vulnerable children in the community which were the major attributes as a member of Usawa na Haki kwa Wote group and working with different teams which I gained while being an active member of the YALI network.
I am a hardworking, honest, and passionate individual endowed with excellent communication skills in English, excellent computer skills, and possess strong analytical skills.
