Ramadhan Wako

I am Ramadhan Wako Golicha, a Kenyan environmentalist specializing in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Audit (EA). I hold a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Nairobi and I am a member of the Environmental Institute of Kenya. My passion lies in safeguarding the environment and fostering sustainable development. Utilizing my expertise, I evaluate the environmental effects of various projects and endeavors, and devise measures to minimize these impacts. My dedication is to create a positive impact on the world and ensure a legacy of environmental protection for future generations.

I perform environmental impact assessments (EIAs) for proposed projects and activities, developing measures to minimize their environmental impacts. Additionally, I offer guidance to businesses and government regarding environmental matters, raise awareness of environmental issues, and advocate for sustainable practices. Furthermore, I collaborate with communities to safeguard their natural resources.

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Conservation and Natural Resource Management, which provided me with a solid foundation in the natural and social sciences. This education equipped me with the necessary skills and knowledge to evaluate and oversee environmental impacts. Additionally, I gained valuable practical experience through work experience, internships and research projects.

During my studies, I took courses covering a range of subjects such as environmental biology, chemistry, law, policy, management, and impact assessment. I also acquired hands-on experience in areas such as conservation of natural resources, wildlife management, sustainable development, ecosystem management, climate change, and disaster risk reduction.

With my education and experience, I am confident in my ability to pursue a career in environmental protection. I am eager to utilize my skills and knowledge to make a positive impact in the world.
