Fayo Halkano

I am Fayo Halkano, a dedicated and innovative software developer with a bachelor's degree in informatics and computer science from Strathmore University. My journey in technology has been shaped by a strong passion for coding, problem-solving, and creating user-centric digital solutions.

With hands-on experience in UI/UX design, web development, and mobile application development, I have honed my skills in delivering functional and aesthetically pleasing software products. My technical expertise extends to computer networking, troubleshooting, and artificial intelligence, enabling me to tackle a wide range of IT challenges.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work as an IT Attaché at the Ministry of East African Community (EAC) and the Ministry of Devolution and ASAL, where I provided crucial user support, managed network configurations, and administered servers. Additionally, I have volunteered as an IT support and mathematics teacher, demonstrating my ability to adapt and contribute in diverse environments.

I am passionate about continuous learning and creative problem-solving. My interests include game development, art and design, and creative writing, all of which fuel my drive to innovate and stay ahead in the tech world.

I am eager to apply my skills and experience to new challenges, collaborate with like-minded professionals, and contribute to impactful projects that make a difference.

I have gained valuable experience as an IT Attaché, providing user support, network configuration, and server administration at the Ministry of East African Community (EAC) and the Ministry of Devolution and ASAL. Additionally, I served as an IT Support Volunteer at Utawala Academy, where I also taught mathematics and managed student registrations in the NEMIS system. These roles have equipped me with a solid foundation in IT operations and problem-solving.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Informatics and Computer Science from Strathmore University, completed in July 2024. Additionally, I also hold Google certifications in both Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security, strengthening my skills in AI technologies and security best practices.
