I am a Bachelor of Commerce finance option graduate, with CPA section 5, with good all round accounting skills in Both Receivable and Payable areas at AAR Health Care Kenya Limited,a great team leader and player with an interest in the advertised position advertised.

• Following up on debtor payments, Receipting and allocation to clear paid items from the statement.
• Payroll processing at the end of the period ensuring the necessary deductions are done,e.g PAYE and WHT deductions,
• Assisted in the reduction of the monthly DSO.
• Learnt the use of SAGE Accounting package and Advanced Excel.
• Gained exposure into the importance of various controls in the credit control function  e.g. ensuring a low DSO
• Gained relationship management skills acting as the liaison between AAR and corporate clients through organizing for meetings to discuss reconciliations, sign-offs and any outstanding issues regarding billings.
• Correction of errors by passing credit notes and/or journals.
• Reporting to management on outstanding issues with customers and informing of early potential debtor problems
• End month stock-take to ensure there are no variances of the stock at hand and stock procured.
• Improved controls in the billing and invoicing process at the medical centers to ensure completeness in the claim form and ensured no unauthorized credits are offered for instances where limits have been exceeded.
• Monthly update of schedules by the 5th working day in preparation for audit and to establish errors in time for correction.
• Processing of invoices and dispatch to clients, sharing statements, following up for payments and allocation.
• Petty cash and float management ensuring no float went unaccounted for over two weeks
• Gained relationship management skills acting as the liaison between AAR and corporate clients through organizing for meetings to discuss reconciliations, sign-offs and any outstanding issues regarding invoicing. 
• Receipting Invoices and making supplier payments as per the periodic payment schedule, ensuring withholding tax is deducted accordingly and making follow ups to ensure clients receive the payments.
• Carried out end month stock-take at the various outpatient centers as per the monthly schedule to curb issues of variances.
• Monthly update of schedules for audit purposes and to establishing errors in time and raising Journals in case of any errors that needed to be corrected. 
• Maintaining a systematic filing system for retrieval of documents for Audit.
• Remittance of statutory deductions before the deadlines to avoid penalties being incurred by the institution.
