Peter Lokitela

My interests are mainly focused on Environment and Natural resources management, Ecology, Wildlife laws and anti-poaching, land use changes, community and livelihoods, Biodiversity conservation, Community-based conservation, Wildlife Management, Eco-tourism, Climate change and adaptation, Drylands utilization and resilience and sustainable management of ecological resources. I have worked for the past five years as a part-time lecturer at Maasai Mara University and Turkana University College (Constituent of Masinde Muliro University of Science & Technology). The focus of my research is towards the conservation and management of natural resources for social, economic and ecological benefits to the local communities and nature in Kenya and the world.
