I have been an active member of a health care team, assisting qualified/registered nurses with the provision of clinical care in a safe environment to a defined caseload of patients within both inpatients and outpatient settings.my area of specialization is taking care of the elder especial those with dementia. I have a good knowledge of dementia and how take care of patients suffering from dementia.
I always strive to improve the quality of patients am privileged to care for especially those suffering from dementia, care and support them through continuing professional development by communicating effectively while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of patients.my expertise over the years has opened me up to understanding how patients relate, communicate, feel and act. This has enabled me over the years to adequately perceive the desires and finding the way to satisfy them typically with the assistance of registered nurses and other healthcare personnel always ensure patients comfort, dignity and privacy at all times and complete the mandatory work of recording patient activities and changes noted while on duty, supporting with activities such as care plans, food and fluids chart, weights chart, stool chats etc.as a qualified healthcare assistant and social worker, I supply deep passion for the task and the flexibility the work brings, this has helped me to grow over the years and most important given me the enablement to perform well each time as a health care assistant.
I excel at observing and analyzing the patients’ conditions and collaborating by working closely with the nurses and ward manager, am also well organized, calm, motivated, compassionate, flexible, enthusiastic and loyal care assistant with needed care.
