Paul Kitur

Am a certified public accountant (CPAK), a Bachelor of Agribusiness Management degree holder and a holder Advanced Diploma in Credit (Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland) among other credit related professional trainings. 

Most of my work experience has been based on the credit function end to end with hands on experience of the below listed functions for over 15 years out of which 10 years I have been at middle management level: 

• Credit Risk Assessment & Analysis
• Portfolio Monitoring & Control 
• Collections & Recovery of Non-performing accounts.

Sanction of credit within the delegation personal authority as well as at Management Credit Committee level and recommendation of all credit proposals within the board credit committee's mandate.

I have been a member of various committees within the various banks as below detailed:

• Management Credit Committee (Invitee to present credit papers)
• Board Credit Committee (Invitee to present credit papers) 
• Assets & Liabilities Committee (Representing Head of Credit) 
• Remedial Management Committee. (Representing Head of Credit)

I have worked for reputable national banks including DIB Bank Kenya Ltd, Gulf African Bank Ltd and Co-operative Bank of Kenya Ltd at various middle management levels. 

I consider myself credible result based professional with excellent analytical, technical and management acumen in leading people and strategic business units in challenging and diverse environments.

Am currently pursuing a masters degree in Economics from Kenyatta University. I have a bachelors degree in Agribusiness Management from  Egerton University and is also a certified public account.
