Nelly Seneyia

Seneyia Nelly is a passionate and dedicated community development professional with hands-on experience in social work, field mobilization, and administrative support. My warm personality, strong communication skills, and ability to connect across cultures makes me a natural leader and team player. Fluent in English, Swahili, and mother tongue, I blends empathy with action, always ready to support, uplift, and make a lasting impact in the communities I serves.

I have hands-on experience in community development, social work, and administrative support. I’ve worked with organizations like SHOFCO and volunteered at Iloshon Safaris, where I helped mobilize communities and support vulnerable groups. Most recently, I was part of Wild Ones Adventures (Jan–May 2025), assisting with outreach, logistics, and field coordination. I’ve also attended professional workshops and conferences to strengthen my skills in communication, leadership, and creating social impact.

I studied Community Development and Social Work at Mount Kenya University, where I pursued a Diploma and am currently awaiting graduation. My studies focused on empowering communities, social policy, and sustainable development. I’m also currently taking a course in Development Studies to deepen my understanding of growth, poverty reduction, and long-term social change.
