1 st April 2022 to date Smep Microfinance Bank. (Nairobi central/Moi Avenue Branch) Position: Business development officer/Direct sales Representative. Responsibilities:  Meeting sales targets both in number of accounts, volume and deposits, selling through cross to existing customers and recruiting new customers.  Preparing target audience lists and sales call plans; implement and make call reports.  Identifying business development opportunities.  Customer care duties.  Receive, verify, and certify against original; all account application documents and forms from customer.  Communicate to customers on accounts declined.  Handling and monitoring customer enquiries and complaints effectively to ensure retention and loyalty.  Ensuring that all new businesses are in line with KYC/AML and CTF laws and regulations and customer information is regularly updated.  Ensuring adherence of all banks prescribed processes, standard operating procedures and central bank requirements.  Role models in the Brand and Corporate values of Smep microfinance Bank both internally and externally.  Attending to any other work-related duties that may be assigned to me from time to time.  Working as part of the team for the purpose of winning together. Position: Accounts/Finance Intern Responsibilities:  Generating payroll by-products(deductions) reports  Processing financial transactions  Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions  Maintaining all payment vouchers, accounting logbooks and supporting documents  Ensuring accuracy of accounting entries  Submission of statutory deductions (NHIF, NSSF, PAYE, HELB etc.)  Preparation of contracts with suppliers, partners and service providers  Monitoring actual expenditures versus budgets  Preparation of monthly financial reports i.e., analysis of the cashbook  Checking the month end petty cashbooks and ensuring that all book keeping and coding is accurate.
