LOGISTIC SPECIALIST; SURGIPHARM LIMITED-Kenya (Nairobi-Mombasa)

APRIL 2014-PRESENT

Duties:

1. Organising all shipments in line with the company requirements.

2. Ensuring the integrity of import/export documentations such as idfs, proforma and commercial invoices and packing lists and overseeing custom clearance of the imported products

3. Timely preparation of import documentations and verification of all freight invoices.

4. Maintenance of records, system data requirements and ensuring integrity at all times.

5. Working closely with marketing department to ensure products are available to the market

-continual review of shipping dates and reporting exceptions

-review the value offered by existing suppliers

6. Coordinating shipment transfers inventories.

7. I also do stock management for various lines in our warehouse.

8. Conducting monthly physical count of products in the warehouse and maintain inventory for each sector and determining optimal inventory levels of stocks

9. Overseeing and confirming the receipt of new inventory.

10. I prepare orders as well as liaise with suppliers to place new orders so as to avoid running out of stocks

11. Sourcing new suppliers locally and internationally

12. Liaising with the regulatory team to ensure all products are well registered with the pharmacy and poisons board

13. Ensure all products are renewed annually with the correct listings with poisons board in line with the company’s requirements

14.Preparing purchase orders using the SAP software with our suppliers both locally and abroad.
