About Monica Kamau:

over 17 years work experience serving as a manager in various sectors.  Currently unemployed and relocated back to Naivasha.  I would like to work in my home town after being away from home for nearly 20 years.  I am a certified and licensed HR Manager, I have served as a Business operations Manager in various multi-national global companies.  I am also very conversant with expat management services including visas and work permits.  My availability is immediately.   I can drive and used to flying. I have a degree in Business Administration, Diploma in HR Management and certificate in Business Management.  I am biased in industrial relations and health and safety, environmental matters and government agencies liaison matters 

Experience

  1. Managed and coordinated schedules for the Managing Director, including scheduling appointments, meetings, local and international travel.
  2. Contact person representing the Director in our oversee business relations in matters dealing with imports and exports of goods.

  9. In-charge of all company registration both locally and international by ensuring that all registration and licenses are renewed on time including monitoring and maintenance of adherence to ethical and environmental requirements of the industry.
  10. Planned and organized office and work flow activities and continually evaluated work procedures and methods to ensure quality , efficiency and timely attainment of Departments objectives
  11. Coordinated office and field administrative functions
  12. Provided timely services to all departments and ensure efficient daily operation of the departments
  13. Monitored offices and ensured they remain safe, secure and well maintained
  14. Planned and directed public relations programs designed to create and maintain a favorable public image
  15. Managed emergency situations and report to the Authorities and Management as appropriate
  16. Liaison person between the Company and outsiders
  17. Handled government departments
  18. Renewal of various licenses, Trade licenses, etc
  19. Renewal of work permits for expatriate staff
  20. Managed Insurances- Motor vehicles, WIBA, Fire, Public Liability, Personal Accident Burglary etc ensuring at all times we adequately covered and renewals done on time 
  21. Coordinated Motor vehicle inspections and licensing
  22. Attended various meetings as a representative of the Company
