Michael Otieno

I have a degree in Bachelor of Commerce-Accounting option studied at Kibabii University.
With my education background, previous work experience and internship program at KEPHIS Kisumu
regional office, I am able to prepare financial statements and generate reports of the same, reconcile
accounts and in depth knowledge of automated accounting system such as Microsoft business solutions- Navision software. Furthermore my career history has afforded me a well-rounded skill set including; seeking ways to improve work flow and maximize efficiency, utilizing data to focus on future trends, competent and self-motivated and strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within the stipulated time frame.
 

• Experienced in analyzing and presenting financial and management reports in an accurate
and timely manner; clearly communicating monthly and annual financial performance.
• Electronic Tax Register (ETR) operations in running the Z report, generating correct
receipts for various invoices and reconciliation of the same.
• Experienced in payroll, financial systems and financial controls, financial planning and
risk management, cash flow management, financial and management reporting,
budgeting and forecasting.
• In-depth knowledge of automated accounting systems such as Microsoft business
solutions-Navision
• Ability to prioritize/organize work independently, meet deadlines and work under
pressure as a team member with minimum supervision.
• Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon
