About Michael Maina:

A diligent and enthusiastic client service specialist with over 4 years of experience in credit control, debt management, sales, and excellent customer service. With a friendly and approachable persona, I am able to elicit client needs in order to advise on good debt management and appropriate purchases and solutions. My passion for debt collection is contagious as I share with my client how to manage their debts and also how to create effective loan repayment plans.

Experience

I have worked in the financial sector for more than 4 years now. I started off with a fintech company known as Tenspot Kenya LTD where we used to issue loans to people through mobile lending and then did the recovery of the same. I worked in customer care then went to debt collection as a credit control assistant. From there I went to the quality assurance department where I did for a year. In 2022 April, I went to a debt collection firm known as receivables management service where I am currently working. We currently do recoveries on charge-off and write-off accounts for banks such as ABSA, NCBA, KCB, EQUTY, COOPERATIVE, and many other Kenyan banks. We also do debt recovery for Saccos across the country also.

Education

After finishing secondary school, I went and did a Diploma in Microfinance in the Cooperative university of Kenya where I graduated with a credit.
