Being a technologist by professional I strive to be a role model to the upcoming generation and to motivate many more people to venture into tech.

Position: Intern (Data networks, Power and IT Support)

Key Achievement:

• Appointed leader in charge of installation of new printers into the company, assigning the recommended IP address and installation to the employee’s computers.

Responsibilities:

• In charge of providing technical assistance and training of the employees at all times.
• In charge of troubleshooting WAN and LAN network problems in the company.
• System and application software installation and maintenance.
• Carrying out revenue collection once a week at the allocated area.

Position: IT Support Specialist

Trained employees on the use of various software making them to be technically independent.

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling meetings and appointments.
• In charge of the company’s filing system.
• Provide IT support to the employees.
• Occasional computer and printer maintenance.

March to June 2022; Agile Business Solutions

Position: Functional Consultant Intern

Key Achievement

• Awarded as a product champion for E-board System.

Responsibilities:

• In charge of system development till implementation.
• Acting as a link between the client and the developer.
• Providing user support after implementation and training users as well as performing demos to clients.

June to August 2022; Standard Chartered Bank HQ

Position: Global Internship Program- Retail Banking. 

Key Achievement

• Came up with a sustainability project on agribusiness.
• Inventing a digital buddy for the universal bankers.

Responsibilities:

• Rotational program in all departments in the bank and get to learn what they do and completing the assigned tasks.
• Being part of mentorship program in women in tech and supporting small businesses.
• Taking part in community/ volunteering work i.e. financial education.
• Creating a project to improve sustainability in the bank.
• Coming up with innovative ideas in where technology can be used to improve the banking sector.
