My name is Mercy Kamau.A lover of everything finance.The financial world is such an eye opening field for me! I am passionate about experiencing and practicing new skills and also interacting with Various people. Open to learning with a positive mindset and embracing teamwork. Recently did my internship at the judiciary Courts as an accountant  having pursued a bachelor's degree in Commerce. 

Skills that I have attained throughout my academic years and also the internship programs are but not limited to communication skills, customer service, team work, interpersonal skills,basic computer knowledge, problem solving skills and attention to detail.

ACCOUNTANT,MAY 2024-AUGUST 2024

As an accountant at Thika law courts, I played a vital role in managing the financial affairs of the institution. My responsibilities included:

• Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, such as income statements
• Budgeting: Developing and managing budgets for various court departments, monitoring expenditures, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Accounting Systems: Implementing and maintaining accounting systems to accurately track financial transactions and generate reports.
• Financial Analysis: 

During my time at Thika law courts, I successful attained  specific achievements, such as  learning adapting  to  new accounting software, improving financial reporting processes, or identifying cost-saving measures. I gained valuable experiences and skills.
