Over 7-year progressive experience in data driven Aquaculture. Being a in BSc Fisheries and Aquaculture graduate, my initial journey was doing most of the field work and hands-on job like training and extension services. I also took time working in Ponds, hatchery, Lake fish handling and feeding sections. This enabled me have a clear understanding of fish culture practices before joining Strategy and operations section, where I have been progressively working for the last 3 years. I believe that data driven Aquaculture is essential in making proactive and non-reactive decisions in Fish farming.

• Fish Appraisal for grading, handling practices, feed type change and net mesh size exchange.
• Aqua-Manager software super-This is an application for production planning, production management and cost analysis, specifically designed for the aquaculture industry.   
• Maintain and automate production KPI dashboards 
• Preparing of monthly reports for high level management decision making. 
• Developing daily feed ratios using specific feed rate and FCR tables.
• Collecting, recording and analysis of water quality and production data
• Developing strategies for analyzing data, exploring and visualizing data.
• Training and developing team members.
• Fish health assessment and diagnosis of pathogenic infections.
• Heading and organizing mortality collection and counting team to ascertain actual survival figures and which production stage loses more fish to plan for corrective actions.

• Pond preparation which includes liming, water filling and fertilsation & hapa setting
• Pond water quality management including water quality parameter testing.
• Daily monitoring of dissolved oxygen and temperature. 
• Inventory maintenance of alum, fertilizer, lime, aerators, hapa nets, galvanized pipes etc. 
• Monthly evaluation of the team’s performance on scorecards. 
• Efficient transfer of fingerlings from pond to cages 
• Calculation of survival rates and Growth per day.
