Hi, I'm Marykate and I have worked in the communication industry as a social media manager, writer, public relations officer, marketer and customer care representative. My jobs have involved creating and executing social media strategies for various clients, analyzing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, and staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends, talking to clients and writing articles. It's a fast-paced and constantly evolving industry, but I love the challenge and the opportunity to be creative and innovative in my work. One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is seeing the impact of a successful campaign on a client's business and their relationship with their audience.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Daystar University and several years of experience working in various communication roles. My expertise lies in crafting compelling messaging that effectively communicates an organization's mission and goals to various stakeholders. I have also developed and implemented communication strategies across multiple platforms, including social media, email marketing, and press releases.

I gained practical experience working as a volunteer student at Daystar University's Corporate Affairs department, and continued working there after I graduated in various departments including public relations, customer care, and marketing. I also worked at Lukenya Getaway Resort, where I worked at the front office and honed my customer interaction skills.

From 2020 to 2022, I worked for Guide to Europe, an international company based in Iceland, where I communicated with potential client companies in different European countries. I was also responsible for data entry, researching, and importing travel content. Overall, my experience has provided me with a diverse range of skills that make me a valuable asset in any communication or marketing role.

 I have a degree in communication specializing in public relations from Daystar University. During my time at Daystar, I gained a comprehensive understanding of the theories, strategies, and practices of public relations. The program equipped me with the skills and knowledge needed to effectively manage communication between an organization and its various stakeholders, including customers, employees, investors, and the public at large
