Mary Rukwaro

I’m Madeleine. A film producer and content creator graduate. I’m passionate about the arts and its ideas around it. I like the fact that it’s captivating. To me, art is undefinable as it brings out the best of me in every possible way. Idealistically gives me a purpose and the willingness of being diverse and trying something different. 

Apart from art, I play good golf, hike and travel a lot. All this I find interesting and fulfilling. I’m a very social person, interactive and approachable. I tend to believe that there’s always something good in people in which I can learn from. In the religious world, I characterize myself more to be spiritual rather than religious, a Christian for that matter. 

 I recently learned that, with outcome based habits, the focus is on what one wants to become and with identity based habits, the focus is on who you wish to become and with that in mind, I am positive that I fit for this position. 

I’ve successfully worked with MNET by producing the show, The Turn Up which airs on Maisha Magic. I’ve also worked with Ada labs in their creative department and we’ve done several in house projects. I’ve also managed to work with Royal Media services to be specific, Citizen TV in their marketing department and the exposure I’ve gotten so far has boosted my confidence and expertise.

I studied in one of the best media schools in Kenya, Multimedia University of Kenya In which I studied Film production and animation, film option studies.
