Lydia Nyagwencha

I am senior medical officer( MBchB) with 10 years experience of work in both the private sector and public sector. I am on my final stage of acquiring an MBA in Epidemiology and disease control and my hope is transition from clinical practice to public and global health and disease control. I am interested in medical research that would influence public health policy for disease surveillance and control of emerging and reemerging diseases.

1.10 years experience as a Senior medical officer in both the public (Machakos level 5 hospital, machakos county) and private sector( AgaKhan university hospital). Offering consultation,treatment and follow up care for patient in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

2. Training of medical officer interns and planning and facilitating Continuous medical education sessions.

3. Medical officer in-charge. Coordinating all the activities of the medical officers cadre, 2018-2019.
