About Loitemu Philip:
I am a disaster manager and a conflict resolution expert with passion of serving the most vulnerable to improve their living standards. I am self-motivated, hardworking, organized, and capable of working under pressure. I have a practical approach to problem solving and a drive to see things through to completion. I enjoy working both in my own initiative and in a team.
Experience
I have over four years of experience working with international humanitarian NGOs responding to disasters, emergencies and conflicts in the most affected communities within Northern Kenya and specifically Marsabit County. I am so much passionate about this course and I look forward to serve the most vulnerable and see them through to graduating from abject poverty to resilient and self relience.
Education
I am currently a masters student at the African Nazarene University where I am taking Masters of Science in Governance, Peace and Security Studies. I hold a bachelors of Science in Disaster Management, Conflict Resolution and Humanitarian Assistance from the Masinde Muliro University Of Science and Technology School of Disaster Management. I graduated with Second class honors upper division. In my KCSE, I scored a mean grade of B (plain).
