Duties and Responsibilities

(●) provides advice and guidance to user units on child protection matters and relevant processes (i.e. Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Quotations (RFQ), bid evaluation criteria other competitive child rights tools) to ensure users needs are met, the Staff Welfare Authority obtains best value, and to ensure child protection processes are perceived by co-actors as fair, open and ethical;

(●)Analyses Child Rights requirements and selects the most appropriate methods based on interpretation and assessment of establishedpolicies, practices, and experience; plans,

organizes and leads the bid solicitation process including draftingand issuing RFQ, RFP, developing bid evaluation criteria and guiding users on processes involved

(●)Planning, directingand supervising all the child right chain management activities at the Staff Welfare Authority

(●) Safeguard Child rights and disposal documents and records in accordance with theChild right Regulations and The Constitution of Kenya 2010.

(●) Implement the decisions of the Child right protection committees, includingcoordinating all activities of these committees within the organization.
