Duties and responsibilities;
 To ensure that process and quality control procedures are effectively followed
in all the work stations in raw material stores, finishing department, Litho,
gravure and finished goods dispatch.
 To approve jobs in all sections of the departments prior to production run.
 To prepare colour guides to be used in sorting and gluing areas for both cut
labels and unit cartons respectively.
 To give advice on quality related matters to Litho Manager, Gravure Manager,
Finishing Manager and/or the assistant production supervisors and Operators
 To supervise the inspection and quality analysis of the finished products prior
to delivery with a view to confirming their conformance to customers’
specifications/requirements.
 To maintain the records for incoming materials, in-process inspections and final
products quality analysis.
 To manage in-process and final products samples collection, storage and
disposition.
 Colour shades trials, comparison and verification to ensure required and exact
shade is supplied to clients in gravure and Litho
 Review defects with pressman or operator for acknowledgement
 Monitor quality of customer samples at time of production of samples
 Verify customer sample quantities
 Collection of samples during production

 Conduct analysis of printed and unprinted material
 Inspection of all incoming raw material (paper/board/ink/foil)
 Ensure Cleanliness and Housekeeping of the Laboratory
 Conducting in-process quality tests and generating reports
 Assisting the Quality Assurance manager in the implementation of
Procedure/policies/ISO Standards in the work place. Such procedures include
ISO, Kaizen, HACCP, cGMP and GLP
