Collaborating Researcher, University of Edinburgh, ‘Mobilized, recruited, conscripted? Leveraging community health work, citizenship and public authority in northern Kenya. 

  • Conducting in-depth, unstructured life history interviews with CHVs, ethnography through community events and participant observation. 
  • Taking lead in supporting field research activities. 
  • Developing plans to execute agreed-upon research projects within budget and time requirements. 
  • Analysing qualitative data using data analysis tools to identify and validate research conclusions. 
  • Coordianted photovoice exercise with the CHVs.
