About Kimiko Campbell:
Since graduating with a BS in Tourism & Hospitality Management from Temple University, I’ve worked primarily in travel and event coordination. This experience includes integral roles in the execution of large public events, V.I.P. and vendor management. Previous responsibilities include, software sales and program development and management. My combined experiences have also created a competent and composed leader.
Experience
PROJECT MANAGEMENT Coordinated several large events, including the Imagine Awards, an annual banquet, awards ceremony and fundraiser, attended by over 300 local dignitaries and media; and Temple University’s Homecoming 5k Run and Family Fun Walk, an event attended by 1000+ alumnus annually. Oversaw the successful execution of over 500 meetings and office events while maintaining a 100% client satisfaction rating. Designed and implemented vendor management procedures that resulted in thousands of dollars in cost savings as well as faster and more reliable shipments. INTERPERSONAL Ability to collaborate with and influence internal and external stakeholders. Self-starter who not only offers initiative, but also task ownership and accountability to team and business success. Served as the dedicated liaison between the Independence Visitor’s Center and 3rd Party event planner of the Wawa Welcome America Festival (2012). INTERCULTURAL Owner of The OEM Factory, an ecommerce platform that has business operations in both the USA and China. Responsible for coordinating product sourcing from Chinese vendors and delivery to US based customers. I have both lived and worked on three continents: North America (USA), Asia (China) and Africa (Kenya).
