Kelly Kariuki

I am a strong, determined and hardworking girl who's main aim is to make a difference in area of specialty. I am also really keen and I enjoy learning new things especially at the workplace. 

I interned at the Kenya Red Cross in 2019 and gained a number of new skills such as data collection, research skills and while conducting field work activities, it helped me build resilience when it came to dealing with difficult situations and decisions. 

I did volunteer work at some Children's Home in Kahawa West in 2021. This was such a good experience for me as it taught me how to interact and be more patient with vulnerable people. Also, my listening skills greatly improved. 

I undertook a 4 month fellowship program at The Bridge at Impact Africa Network. They taught me how to improve and work on public speaking, project writing, management, team building and management. This was such a good learning opportunity that greatly helped me boost my confidence while doing pitch meetings. 

I completed my diploma in International Relations in 2019 and gradated from Strathmore University. Then I went ahead and did a short course in ACCA accounting in Strathmore University for a period of four months. 

And currently, I am pursuing my BA in International Studies as a third year.
