Karen Mutuku

I have seven years working experience in Non Profit sector where I have managed at least one hundred community projects. I enjoy and respect the diversity in people's culture and find satisfaction in empowering marginalized communities. I work with integrity, compassion and understanding of the vast communities we work in. Passionate about serving the community, I seek to work in a humanitarian organization. 

2017- 2023: Community Manager at Well Aware- I was in charge of the day today management of the community department responsible for community need assessment. budgeting, planning, implementing, evaluation and auditing all community projects. Additionally, I played an administrative role compiling and sharing reports, giving travel advise and assistant as well as in recruitment of new employees. 

2012-2017: Credit officer at Commercial Bank of Africa- Worked in a financial institution handling large sums of money and a torn of sensitive clientele. Here i learnt patience, integrity, honesty and accountability. I also grew my people's skills and relationship management

2010-2012: Project Administrator at TKM Maestro- I held administrative role such as diarizing, scheduling and facilitating workshops, budget control and accountability.
