I am a professional social worker and a pre-registered member of Social Work Society of Kenya. My inspiration to pursue
social work stemmed from my desire to positively impact  people’s lives.
I have always been passionate about the wellbeing of people I come into contact with. I
thought Social work is the kind of training that would enable me actualise this passion , as I
was also helped. I have gained vast experience in working with vulnerable people where I
have supported them a litle I could with their day-to-day activities and ensured that their wellbeing stands out.
I support the service users to access medication, problem management, counselling,
refferals/linkages and accessing the community seriices. I feel that within this roles I haie
gained a lot of skills and knowledge which I can apply in social work/service practice. My
experience and degree training will guide me in understanding the different interventions used by social workers to deliver services and enhance my knowledge of social work theories
and methods.
I have a fair understanding around the Children Act 2022 and the AFC STRATEGY REFORMS, Human Rights Act and the social service Act.
I have worked closely with social workers in the past and with the state. This experience has
given me a great insight into the role of social work. I now have a good understanding
around the role of the social worker, (still wanting to adiance it beterr and how they can affect the lives of individuals positively in the society.
Willing to relocate to anywhere to take up roles aligned to my passion and expertise.
