In the last 5 years in both retail and hospital pharmacy set ups,I have actively participated and undertaken the following duties and responsibilities:-
 Fill bottles with prescribed drugs, type and affix labels
 Seek medication authorisation on KPO(TSC) and NHIF systems
 Handling and mixing of chemotherapeutic agents
 Maintain proper storage and security condition for drugs
 Price and file prescriptions that have been filled
 Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing information
 Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results
 Generate revenue by calculating recording and issuing drugs

The knowledge acquired is important in delivering optimal care by assessing the suitability of 
the medication for a particular patient taking into account their medical history as well as 
possible side effects and interactions with other drugs that are being used.
Importantly, pharmaceutical care knowledge has also enhanced my engagement and 
communication with patients, so they are given a clear understanding of the medication, its 
purposes, effects and the dosage regime.
