John Kimani

I am an actor with more than a decade in media and arts. I started out with stage performances in set books. First in Lumara Kunaka's foresight sterling production then in Nairobi Theatre Players where I grew to a stage manager and eventually a creative writer and project manager the equivalent of a line producer in film.

Thereafter I joined Sammy Nwangi's Heartstrings Production under the direction of Victor Ber and soon after started film. K.I.E's Utengano a wealthy business man and political who loses his entire family due to his pride and being a wife beater latter changes and becomes a loving father but is it too little too late!! I have also featured in Ruben Odanga's Selina as an investing officer responsible for bringing down a syndicate of corrupt criminals to justice with the help of the main character Pascal Tokodi. Lulu Hassan's and Rashid Abdalla's Maria where I played the role of a business man who helped the lead role Maria to trace her roots. I have also featured in Royal media's Inspector Mwala  in various supporting roles. 

I have worked in Pixoral Productions as a camera man, (D.O.P.)video and sound editor and line producer in various projects. Film, documentaries, talk shows and event coverage.
