Irene Wambui

I am a certified counseling psychologist who graduated from the Technical University of Kenya in 2022. I have practiced in Mathari National and Teaching Referral Hospital as a psychologist, currently volunteering in community based organizations i.e, Pro- life Kariobangi, where i offer psychosocial support to young mothers and young girls who get pregnant when in school. I also volunteer in Unlimited Youth Kenya where i offer counselling services to the general population and also conduct group therapy. I am passionate about mental health advocacy and creating awareness on it by trying to break stereotypes that surrounds it.Skills that I am good in over the years are communication skills, listening skills, creative thinking, counseling skills and many other more.
