Experience

During my time at Samsung Electronics from September 2018 to date as the Regional Marketing Manager E.A, I was able to grow the Public Relations Value(PR-Value) at a rate of 52% continuously for 2 years through working together with the Marketing agency and the Public relations teams to create opportunities to position Samsung as thought leader in the technology space.

Additionally, through proper planning and execution of launch events, we were able to showcase our sustainability agenda to our target audience having approximately 90% engagement rate with the audience during the events. By having a 360 degrees approach while planning events, where all aspects of audience touch points such as; Traditional media (TVC, Radio, print media) ; Digital media (Social sites, online blogs, podcasts) as well as on the on ground experience are incorporated together, we were able to have increased and sustained awareness of our products.

Having worked for British American Tobaccao Kenya Ltd and Samsung Electronics East Africa Ltd both being global companies, I have had the opportunity to interact with people of various cultural and ethnics backgrounds. This diversity has allowed to build my creativity and broaden my scope in how I approach and solve problems.
