Harriet Musimbi Kigaro is a Medical Psychologist and Mental Health Advocate with three years’ experience in Kenya and Globally. She is passionate about working with adolescents and the youth in Kenya. She volunteers as a secretary for Growth Catalysts, a community-based organization that empowers her community with free mental health education and as an Associate Medical Psychologist to recently founded Aviva Consultants, a social enterprise that aims to provide affordable and sustainable mental health care. She aims to establish a safe house for survivors of Gender-based violence and introduce mental health in Kenyan school’s curriculum. She also has 3 years’ experience  working as a Research Assistant, currently working on clinical research trials on Post traumatic stress disorder. She has 5years experience of working with different psychometric and psychological assessment tools such Beck depression inventory, PHQ-9, CAPS-5, MINI, MADRS and other tools.
