Grace Mghanga

I have a great passion for dancing and making tiktok videos for fun and to keep me busy during my leisure time. In 2021 I volunteered at an organization known as Nawiri Sisters Organization that is trying to eradicate period stigma in Africa and got the chance to interact with many girls and children as we provided pads for them and tried to come up with projects, they could do to sustain them financially as well. Back in 2019 I joined an ex-candidate's programme where i got to learn a few skills on financial literacy, community service and team work. I strongly believe in good time keeping and patience as my main virtues. 

In 2022 I worked as a Communications intern at Kenya Broadcasting Corporation in Nairobi for 3 months as per the required time period by the University. The duties I was assigned was to receive and attend to guests at the reception desk and direct them to the respective offices they wanted to visit,respond to complaints and comments on the social media platforms and plan and organize events at the the office or by the office.

I have studied International Studies at Strathmore University for four years and some of  the relevant course work I did was Logic, communication skills, Project Management, Media and International Studies, social and political philosophy, gender, peace and conflict studies and intercultural communication and Diversity.
