I am an active and detail-oriented professional with over 16 years of experience in strategic policy direction, organizational development, and managing organizational administrative functions. Position: Chief Officer - ICT, Training, and Youth Development

Key Achievements:

  • Best Department in Budget preparation and implementation in both Absorption and guidelines
  • Implemented 22 fully equipped ICT centers in Kitui County 
  • Implemented Kitui County revenue collection system-awarded Silver mark  at CIO 100 awards year 2021
  • Trained over 4000 youths in live earning skills(under youth skills development) which led to the birth of Kitui County Textile centre(KICOTEC)
  • Turned around the Training and skills development department which saw growth in the number of trainees from 4,200 in the year 2018 to the current 7,200(Vocational training center trainees) with quality training which saw Kitui County become a major stakeholder in Technical and Vocational training in Kenya.
  • Initiated and came up with Kitui County Youth draft policy which is now at cabinet level Pending Approval
  • Best Manager-Vocational training center ( VTC)     Grant year 2019/2020, 2020/2021

  • Head of administration in the Ministry.
  • Accounting officer to the Ministry(AIE Holder-Budgets,Payments,Procurement,and revenue administration)
  • Providing strategic policy direction.
  • Developing and implementing an effective performance management system.

  • Maintaining effective collaboration with other organs of Government, the private sector, and other stakeholders.

  • Turned around Business at National  Bank Malindi  Branch from score 1 to  Score 4 on a 1-5 scorecard.
