About GEOFFREY KIBIGO:
For the past 16 years, Mr. Kibigo has developed and enhanced skills in human development, social transformation, project management, agri-value chain commercialization and markets, community mobilization and team management, food security and livelihoods programming. Currently, Kibigo is the Value chain & Markets Specialist at Tearfund, providing technical support to countries in South and Eastern Africa. The main objective of the role is to work with rural communities through the social and church structures to exploit the vast agricultural opportunities to enhance livelihoods. Kibigo has designed and implemented numerous food security and livelihood projects funded by various donors like USAID, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, AGRA, FAO, among others. Further, He has significant experience in donor reporting, people leadership and NGO management. Besides these, Kibigo is passionate about social transformation and economic empowerment for the bottom of the pyramid and has excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. He desires to grow his career in Human development, food security, livelihoods and organizational management.
Experience
16 years working in the NGO sector, both local and international NGOs, where I have attained and enhanced skills in partnership management, project design ad implementation management in food security and resilience. Well expossed to Africa region and with a good understanding of Africa's social political dynamics.
Education
Currently enrolled for an MBA - Social Enterpreneurship degree, and A hold a BA in Social Sciences
